What is the Year of Adventure Girls?
Located in Utah, the Year of Adventure Girls is Rooted & Wild’s membership experience for girls and teens who are ready to get a little mud on their boots and try something new.
Programs follow the school-year calendar, with adventures running from September through May. Designed to spark confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors, this program introduces girls to nature in a way that feels welcoming, playful, and empowering.
We offer daytime groups for homeschool girls ages 8–12, as well as after-school evening groups for girls ages 8–12. Our teen group, for ages 13–17, also meets in the evenings. Members gather once a month for guided outdoor adventures, hands-on learning, and meaningful connections with other girls who love exploring the world around them.
Whether your daughter is brand new to the outdoors or already feels at home on the trail, this membership was built to make adventure feel more accessible, playful, and confidence-building.

Is your daughter ready to join us? Registration opens on August 1st. Reserve her spot in her desired group with the registration fee. It secures her place, covers any necessary permit fees, and includes a welcome gift to help your daughter start her Year of Adventure.
Monthly Subscription
$59
Beginning September 1st, you’ll be charged a $59 monthly subscription fee. This recurring payment keeps the membership active and gives your daughter access to all the adventures, community, and benefits included with her group. You will be charged this subscription fee through the month of May, meaning you will be charged a total of 9 times.
